Liz Richardson
Liz is a farmer advocate, chaplain and educator running to represent Virginia’s 100th district in the House of Delegates. Her decision to run is rooted in the same commitment that has guided her entire career: serving people, building bridges across differences, and strengthening the well-being of communities. Liz brings a depth of experience to her campaign, spanning the fields of education, nonprofit leadership, healthcare, and spiritual care. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, she comes from a family of farmers, watermen, teachers, and first responders that have shaped her commitment to service and her love for this region.
Too often, rural and coastal community voices are left out of policy conversations that directly impact their lives. Liz is running to make sure we are not only heard, but that we are shaping the future of Virginia in a way that uplifts everyone—especially those who’ve been overlooked for too long. She understands the urgency of states and localities stepping in to fill the significant gaps left behind by the Trump Administration’s policies. Whether it’s advocating for farmers and food programs, expanding healthcare access, or investing in education, Liz will fight for policies that meet real people where they are with respect, empathy, and common ground.
